Instructors, certified by the American Heart Association, will provide training and recertification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPR, CPR AED and children’s CPR in addition to Adaptive Medicine. BLS for Healthcare Providers - Classroom (AHA)

In this classroom-based course, healthcare professionals learn to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. 

 

BLS for Healthcare Providers Online Part 1 (AHA)
Busy healthcare professionals who need a flexible training option can choose this course for first-time or renewal certification. Students first complete online lessons and then meet with an AHA instructor for skills practice and testing

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Classroom (AHA)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course that uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes

Heartsaver First Aid - Classroom (AHA)

Heartsaver® First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical personnel arrive. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.

 

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - Classroom (AHA)

ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.

Heartsaver CPR AED - Classroom (AHA)

Heartsaver®  CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult.  This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.

(Adult - 25 min, Child - 35 min, Infant - 30 min)

Family & Friends CPR - Classroom (AHA)

The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only™ CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.

 

Family & Friends CPR Anytime - Classroom (AHA)

Family & Friends® CPR Anytime® Personal Learning Program allows anyone to learn the core skills of CPR in just 20 minutes using their own personal kit. The kit contains everything needed to learn basic CPR, AED skills and choking relief anywhere, from the comfort of your home to a large group setting
